Interested in partnering with us to host an event?

We have our rental skates available for bookings, as long as we don’t have a session or event the same day!

Please email us a quick outline of the event you are planning; include the venue you plan to book and an estimate of the number and type of skaters expected. (eg. 40 youth hockey players under 15 with their adults, 80-100 teens mostly beginner skaters). Please note that safety pads and helmets are not available for rent. Participants should provide their own to ensure they are properly fitted.

In terms of planning an event:

• We will work with you to determine the number of skates to reserve (minimum booking is 35 pairs)
• You will need to book a venue that accepts roller skating on its floors
• Determine any venue requirements (eg. City of Ottawa requires helmets for certain aged skaters at their venues)
• Acquire applicable permits and insurance for the event (as needed)
• Confirm a dedicated first aid presence
• Arrange staff/volunteers to run the event (May include things like: admission, lost kids booth, coat check, security, DJ, concessions, site supervisor etc.)
• We will work with you to ensure delivery of the skates in time for event setup and will ensure delivery back to our skate storage.
• If you have questions about setting up an event on Eventbrite, we can offer advice based on how we’ve run past events.
• We have a few great providers we work with for our own Ottawa events for lighting, audio, and first aid. We’d be glad to connect you, but can obviously not speak for their availability, etc.
